Places to See in Khao Sok: Village, River, Caves and Lake
Every place worth a stop in Khao Sok, on the land side around the village and on Cheow Lan Lake, with what to expect and how to reach it.
Khao Sok is two worlds: the land side around the village of Khlong Sok, where the rainforest, the Sok river and the waterfalls are, and the lake side at Cheow Lan, reached by boat from the Ratchaprapha dam and around 65 to 67 km away by road. One ticket does not cover the other, and many first-time visitors plan for one and discover the other too late.
This page lists the places we cover, with what each one actually is and the guide to read before you go. Two of them are stops on lake tours rather than places you reach on foot.
